4-part STE(A)M Interactive Series that includes the following courses for Infant – Pre-k Age Groups:

Part 1. An Introduction to STE(A)M Learning Setting (1.5 In-Service Hours)
● What exactly is STE(A)M learning anyway? STE(A)M learning is about discovery. When teachers invest in STE(A)M learning experiences, they encourage children to develop real-life problem-solving skills. Engaging children in high-quality STE(A)M activities addresses cultural issues and increases diversity in STE(A)M fields in the generations to come. Teachers and children who engage in STEAM learning learn and practice processes and skills that connect and build upon one another. When teachers regularly engage in STEAM learning they enhance children’s independence, provide opportunities for children to engage with a variety of materials, and increase children’s vocabulary.

Part 2. Looking Closer at the Science and Math in STE(A)M Learning (1.5 In-Service Hours)
● Embark on a professional development journey designed for early learning educators who aspire to deepen their understanding of integrating Science and Math effectively within the STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) framework. This session will delve into research-based strategies, hands-on activities, and pedagogical approaches to nurture a love for inquiry, exploration, and mathematical thinking in young learners. Participants will be equipped with practical tools to enhance the science and math components of their early childhood curriculum.

Part 3. Looking Closer at the Engineering and Technology in STE(A)M Learning (1.5 In-Service Hours)
● In this professional development session, early learning educators will explore the dynamic world of Engineering and Technology within the STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) framework. This session will delve into practical strategies and innovative approaches to integrate engineering and technology concepts seamlessly into your classroom activities. Participants will gain insights into fostering a love for inquiry, problem-solving, and creativity in their young learners through hands-on activities and collaborative learning experiences.

Part 4. Looking Closer at the Art in STE(A)M Learning (1.5 In-Service Hours)
● Ignite your creativity and join us for an inspiring professional development session tailored for early learning educators eager to explore the transformative role of Art in the STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) framework. This session will delve into innovative strategies, hands-on experiences, and collaborative approaches to infuse art seamlessly into early childhood education. Participants will gain valuable insights into fostering self-expression, creativity, and a holistic approach to STE(A)M learning in their classrooms.
