We will discuss teacher’s ability to “know” what effective interactions are; why they matter; “see” effective interactions needed to build self-awareness\, and “do” by practicing effective strategies. \nCEUs available. \nAccess to internet and camera is a requirement for this fully online course. Link will be provided for Microsoft TEAMS \nThe first session is on Thursday\, February 15th 6:30 pm to 8:30 p.m. through TEAMS. The last session is on Thursday\, May 12th 6:30 pm and each Thursday in-between.  \nThe time of each session in between will be 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM always on a Thursday.  Participants should plan to arrive by 6:20 PM to sign-in and get settled in so that the class can begin promptly at 6:30. Dates are subject to change. If changes occur\, participants will be notified as soon as possible.   \nPlease bring your CGC/MMCI manual to each session. Camera and participation required to get credit for attendance. Come ready to learn and have fun doing it! \nMake-up Policy: If a participant misses a session\, there will only be one chance to make it up. That date will be announced during the 10th session. Without the data insights collected from the observations\, organizations would be unable to create data-driven improvement initiatives that focus on the quality of interactions. \nTo be a Certified CLASS® Observer\, observers need to: \n\nComplete a CLASS® Observation Training\nPass a reliability exam following the training\n\nMaintain certification through a yearly recertification process- LINK HERE \nFor directors participating in Observer Director Training Grant – Elevate Workforce ONLY.
