DESCRIPTION:Instructors: STEM GEMS of St. Lucie County \nWith all areas of the curriculum that teachers must focus on to help children learn more effectively\, wouldn’t it be nice to have a blueprint for success? This training will help teachers learn strategies\, techniques\, and even activities which will help support children’s learning in the four areas of STEM – Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, and Mathematics. \nCome and learn more about STEM and how you\, as an educator can make a difference in children’s learning. Core Competency: CA5D6 – Select and implement activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity\, exploration\, and problem-solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of all children. \nCourse includes mentors and coaching even after the training ends. A 5-week challenge is presented during the course. Those who take the challenge and complete all five weeks of projects will earn a $375.00 STEM kit! \nParticipants are responsible for providing their own lunch. \nThis course is geared towards 3-year olds and older. \n7 hours\, No CEUs
