SUMMARY:Virtual Instructional Support Strategies for Coaches & Directors
DESCRIPTION:This is part of the Child Success Grant\, “Segment Two” AND Upskill Director’s Package “A” requirements. \nThis is a one-day training is conducted virtually by Teachstone.  This training is specifically designed to look at strategies that teachers can use to increase the effectiveness of their interactions related to the Instructional Support domain. \nThis training is open to coaches\, support staff\, specialists\, etc. who are interested in increasing their knowledge of strategies that support teachers in the Instructional Support domain. \nThe training is being provided by DEL and is free to participants. \nTeachstone has set up an Event page just for this training.  The Summary page provides information about the training and what’s included.  If you want to view the training opportunities available\, click ‘TRAININGS’ at the top of the page and it will list all the dates for you and show how many spots are left. \nWhen you are ready you can click the blue ‘Register‘ button at the top of either the Summary or Training page to then complete your registration.  All trainings will close 7 days prior to the training date so Teachstone has enough time to send materials to participants. \nWe will be using Zoom Video Conferencing for the training. Success in our virtual training is dependent on your attendance and active engagement throughout the training. Link will be provided for Microsoft TEAMS. \nThe first session is Tuesday February 13th 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. through TEAMS. The last session is on Tuesday May 14th 6:30 pm.  \nThe time of each session in between will be 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM always on a Tuesday.  Participants should plan to arrive by 6:20 PM to sign-in and get settled in so that the class can begin promptly at 6:30. Dates are subject to change. If changes occur\, participants will be notified as soon as possible.   \nPlease bring your CGC/MMCI manual to each session. This is a facilitated virtual course camera and participation required to get credit for attendance.  Come ready to learn and have fun doing it!  \nMake-up Policy: If a participant misses a session\, there will only be one chance to make it up.
