DESCRIPTION:Each session has it’s own registration on our website professional development page. \nVirtual Platform Provided by Learning Beyond Paper \nYou Are Their Safe Place – Overcoming Trauma Challenges: 8/13\n(1 In-Service Hour for PD + 1 In-Service Hour for Independent Practice)\nThis professional development session is designed to equip educators\, administrators\, and support staff in early childhood settings with the knowledge and tools necessary to understand and address the effects of trauma in young children. Trauma experienced during early childhood can have lasting impacts on a child’s development\, affecting their social\, emotional\, and cognitive well-being. This session will explore the various forms of trauma\, its potential consequences\, and evidence-based strategies for creating trauma-informed environments that promote resilience in young learners. \nGroup Reflection: You Are Their Safe Place – Overcoming Trauma Challenges: 8/20\n(1 In-Service Hour)\nGroup reflection sessions will be structured to discuss each participant’s ‘Noticing’s & Wonderings’ from the application of their expanded knowledge through the professional development sessions and independent follow-up activities
