Reside in Marion County:\n• provide valid FL driver’s license/id\, current lease or utility bill from within the past 60 days \n2. Have child between the ages of birth to five years old:\n• Provide Medicaid card or birth certificate \n3. Provide Evidence of financial need:\n• Housing instability (PROVIDE referral from certified homeless shelter)\n• Foster Placement (PROVIDE Medicaid card or placement letter)\n• Receiving school readiness (provide ELC staff verification)\n• receiving snap (PROVIDE snap letter)\n• Medicaid recipient (PROVIDE Medicaid card)

DESCRIPTION:The Language of CLASS® – Promoting Instructional \nSupport in the Preschool Classroom \nVoluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) providers must annually participate in a program assessment of each VPK classroom per Section 1002.68\, Florida Statutes. Program assessments measure the effectiveness of teacher-child interactions within the classroom. The Classroom Assessment Scoring System® (CLASS®) is the required program assessment tool. \nThe Division of Early Learning (DEL) offers two Virtual professional learning opportunities to support VPK directors and educators in the implementation of the CLASS® \nThis session provides knowledge of resources and helpful strategies that align with the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards (FELDS)\, encourages teacher-child interactions and helps educators identify ways to improve their instructional practices. \n
